NOT ONLY TRILOBE. REP CONICAL CONNECTION IS BORN

Tecom Implantology introduces the new REP Conical Connection line, as a review of the classical REP Tapered Implant with trilobe connection.

Titanmed’s mission is to satisfy the diverse clinical needs of implantologists through a range of excellent products, well-known in the market under the brand Tecom Implantology. For such a reason, the REP CC line, the new implant line that joins the historical REP trilobe connection, will be available in stock starting from November 2015.

The REP CC implant design, with a conical body inspired by the root of the natural tooth, boasts many years of success thanks to its high primary stability in all loading protocols, including the immediate load.

The surface treatment chosen for the REP implant, for both types of connection, is the TiP TECOM IMPLANTOLOGY, totally comparable to the well-known TiUnite™ as proven by the tests carried out by prestigious, independent laboratories specialized in implantology and by the University of Turin. Such test reports are available upon request. The TiUnite™ surface treatment is in use since 2000 and is recognized as having the capability to enhance the primary osseointegration process and, in the long term, to maintain the marginal bone and soft tissue levels, thanks to its surface of average roughness created by the Titanium oxide and by the high presence of Phosphorus.

The conical connection offers a tight seal between implant and abutment and a high mechanical strength, which give the dental prosthesis a good stability, a key factor for a long lifespan of the prosthetic teeth.
